シカゴ詩人たちによるアンソロジー、"Wherever I'm At: An Anthology of Chicago Poetry" のプロモーションのため、WBEZ CHICAGO NPR (米国公共ラジオシカゴ放送)にて、詩を読んできました。

​ WBEZ91.5には、コマーシャルみたいなものがないので、今回収録された詩は、番組や音楽の間に繰り返し放送されるそうです。

声をきいたら、「あら、なおちゃんだ!」と思っていただけるように読みました。

ラジオ局は、シカゴ観光スポット・ネイビーピアーのどまんなかにあって、オフィスから見える、ミシガン湖が、とってもきれい。からりとした夏日和だったので、景色を堪能。シカゴって、本当に美しい街です。

ネイビーピアーのあるダウンタウン北側から、リバーウォークを通って、南側にあるシカゴ美術館&ミレニアムパークまで歩きました。約50分くらいのお散歩で、ヨットが見えたり、大きな船が見えたり。

昼間は観光客や、犬のお散歩、マラソン&サイクリングをしているかたも多いです。しかし、夜や夕方になってくると、高架下の暗い道もあるので、一人での歩行は避けたほうが良いかもしれません。
